Ellastone is very lucky to have an outstanding gastro-pub.

They serve fabulous food both at lunchtime and in the evening and it's also a very special place to stay.

If you are new to the village and would like to meet people - Friday early evening in the Duncombe Arms is a good bet!

There are two post boxes in Ellastone: 

1 - Along Dove Street on the right (towards the bridge)

2 - Near the junction of Wootton Road & Church Lane.  

Collections at both are 09:00 on weekdays and 07:00 on Saturdays

There is also a Post Office service in the Parish Hall reading room on Mondays between 9:30 - 11:30

You will find that most people in the village will have joined one of two surgeries in Ashbourne:

Both surgeries have very good reputations.

Bus stops are located on the Main Road, opposite the pub and at the top of Dove Street.
