Recent Incidents in Ellastone – Community Awareness
We’ve had two serious incidents on Wootten Road involving speeding vehicles, resulting in damage to a street lamp and the Speed Indicator Device (SID). Police data confirms excessive speeds in the area, with some vehicles recorded well above the limit.
If you witnessed these incidents or have any information, please contact the parish council or Staffordshire Police. Your help can make our roads safer.
Please drive carefully and respect speed limits to keep Ellastone safe for everyone.
Please note that there are a few errors on the NEWSRACs that got sent out:
There is no Christmas day service in Ellastone
The Christmas Eve service is at 3pm
The sing-a-long in Stanton is on the 17th at 3pm
Examples of some of the advent windows - No.6 above (viewed from the inside) on Marlpit Lane and No.1 below on Wootton Road
Sorry for not adding pictures of all of the windows (as they do look fantastic!) but a complaint was received from the owner of one household about photos being taken for use on the website, but if you would like yours adding (and you are the home owner) then just let us know!
